Middleton Fair

The next major event for the Club is the Middleton Fair in the grounds around the Middleton Hall on 1 February. We will be putting on our Cafe as we do every year. Tea and coffee, scones and cream and sandwiches will all be available from the Cafe from 10.00 am on Saturday 1 February. Club Members will do all the catering and will be there to wait on tables. At the same time, the Club will be hosting a display in the Middleton Hall, highlighting local businesses with a gardening theme. During the morning we will be launching our 50th Anniversary booklet, describing the History of the Club from its earliest days in 1970 until now. Copies of the booklet will be available for purchase at the Cafe. Any club members who have not yet put their name down to be part of the fun but would like to be involved should contact the Club Secretary by email secretary@southchannelgardenclub.org and they will be given a spot on the roster. The Club will also be sponsoring the annual scarecrow competition. The Fair is our most important fund raising event each year so please come along and enjoy the day.
